Who Is Betirri?
Betirri is an international artist recognized primarily by a series of paintings depicting bodiless sport figures in motion. Most of his work explores the concept of identity through contemporary or current and diverse lifestyles. He is also the official artist of the Houston Lamborghini Festival since 2014.
Betirri’s creative vision is inspired by the crossover between the culture of art and football.“Sports are a way of identity for many. Sports keep us in constant motion, motivated, inspired, and alive. Sports are full of emotions just like art. When I was a kid, I wanted to become a professional football player, but my asthma condition did not let me go further as I wished. However, art was the only path to stay as close to the sports as in athlete or manager.”

What Is A COLLECTIVE (DAO)?
DAO or “Decentralized Autonomous Organization” is a community-led entity with no central authority. It is fully autonomous and transparent: smart contracts lay the foundational rules, execute the agreed upon decisions, and at any point, proposals, voting, and even the very code itself can be publicly audited.
In other words, DAO Collectives basically refer to groups of people centered on a specific purpose that work in coordination according to a shared set of rules encoded in code and therefore, resistant to influence, bias and corruption.
For most types of organizations, DAO can be thought of as a mix of Fan Club, Advisory Board, Patrons, Auditors and Supporters all rolled into one.
DAOs are in an early stage of evolution. This DAO gives you an opportunity to gain a firsthand experience of something that many believe will change how our society organizes. It’s expected to bring about an era of transparency and trust in organizational structures.
What Is BRQ COLLECTIVE?
Betirri’s work has been exhibited at the last 3 World Cup events.
BRQ COLLECTIVE is launched with the singular focus to support & coordinate Betirri’s trip and exhibit in Qatar for World Cup Soccer 2022.
To this end, this COLLECTIVE will organize various events and promotions culminating in Betirri’s trip and exhibition in Qatar:

Vote on various proposals and ideas related to the trip as well as various events culminating into the trip
The Journey
Front row view into the preparation for the trip as well as insights into the artist’s passion and creative journey.

Auctions
Participate in “by invitation only” auctions.
Artifacts

How it Works?
Here is how the BRQ COLLECTIVE will operate. It will be collaboratively managed through its governance interface Powered by Fleato.
Proposals
The community will propose and vote on ideas, suggestions and any other topic related to Betirri’s trip and exhibition. Voting takes place on the DAO’s governance interface.
Voting
All members are eligible to vote on proposals, but some member’s vote may have more weightage based on the number of tokens they hold and/or if they are a member of Advisory and other councils.
Collaborate
BRQ COLLECTIVE has an inbuilt discussion forum that members can use to discuss any proposal, ideas, upcoming votes, etc. Members may be able to earn rewards by participating in the discussions.
Rewards
Members can earn various rewards by participating in the COLLECTIVE. These rewards can be in the form of physical objects, virtual rewards (example NFTs) or elevated privileges in the COLLECTIVE.
What After World Cup?
Plan is to launch a more generic COLLECTIVE to bring his various projects and supporters on a single platform, and also allow his fans to be able to contribute to the creative process.
Members of the BRQ COLLECTIVE will be given special privileges and roles in the generic COLLECTIVE to be able to influence the artist’s journey to other exciting places, events and experiences (literally and figuratively).
